Planning an event in the Woollahra Local Government Area? You've come to the right place!

Here are some useful resources and guidelines for planning and promoting your event in Woollahra.

NSW Event Starter Guide and safety tips

Before you start your event: the NSW government starter guide is a comprehensive manual that helps you navigate all the areas of effective event management. Read it here(PDF, 165KB).

The Australian Government's Safe and Healthy Crowded Places Handbook outlines nationally agreed principles for safe and healthy crowded places. Read it here.

Accessible and inclusive events

When planning an event, it is a legal requirement to consider the access needs of people with a disability. With more than 20% of the NSW population living with disability, making your event accessible is also an important commercial decision. Promoting an event’s focus on accessibility may also be an attractive prospect for supporting partners or sponsors.

The NSW Government's Toolkit for accessible and inclusive events(PDF, 2MB) aims to assist event organisers in creating an event that is accessible to all members of the community.
