Festival of Fun New Experiences
Council invites community organisations serving our Woollahra residents to get involved in the Festival of Fun New Experiences in March 2024. The festival will highlight community activities for the young and young-at-heart across the Woollahra Local Government Area. The festival themed booklet will be distributed widely and will connect community to your activity.

- Woollahra Libraries
Provide various activities and services, including a home library service, to help you continue to stay connected.
- Next of Kin Register
A NSW Police program where older people who live alone can register personal information so that in an emergency, police can contact their next of kin if needed, as well as having access to their nominated doctor, dentist, and any medical alerts.
A Red Cross service which provides a daily telephone call to check on an older person’s wellbeing.

Planning for the future
Council has been supporting the direct service provision of ageing and disability services for many years, with the provision of community facilities, direct services and the allocation of grants and subsidies.
The Delivery Program and Operational Plan describes how Council will work with the community to achieve its goals. The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (PDF version(PDF, 2MB) and Easy Read Version(PDF, 2MB)) and Social and Cultural Plan(PDF, 5MB) identifies short and long term priorities for the Woollahra community including seniors and people with a disability.
