Woollahra Library at Double Bay
If you're looking for a space to run a meeting or professional workshop, or if you have an activity that is open to the public and enhances community well-being, the Woollahra Library at Double Bay spaces may be for you. Woollahra Library at Double Bay, conveniently located within the Double Bay shopping precinct, is fully accessible with a large lift and with easy access to car parking and public transport.
The following spaces are available to hire at Woollahra Library at Double Bay:
- Event Space (up to 100 people)
- Tech Room (up to 13 people)
- Study Rooms (up to 8 people)
- Quiet Pod (up to 2 people)
Paddington Library
We have a Quiet Pod available in Paddington Library that can be booked for 1-4 people for up to 2 hours, and is perfect for small meetings in-person or over video.

- Please note, if you fail to arrive 15 minutes after your booked session has commenced, your booking will be cleared to allow others to use the space.
The Woollahra Libraries spaces are not suitable for private social functions or parties, or regular weekly recreational activities such as exercise or art classes. Check the terms and conditions and Response to COVID-19 Addendum to see if your event is suitable.
Event Space
Located near the entrance on Level 1, this is the largest event space available, and can be partitioned into 2 smaller rooms.

100 (or 40 in Space A and 50 in Space B).

Larger events, launches, conferences, seminars, workshops.

Standard Woollahra Library at Double Bay opening hours:
Mon to Fri: 9am – 8pm, Sat and Sun: 10am – 4pm.
Any use outside of these hours is by negotiation.

Three group study rooms are located on level three. These rooms can be booked by up to 8 people for up to two hours per day.

Study sessions, meetings and training sessions.

1 room has a short throw projector and smart board and 1 room has a screen display allowing presentations and collaborative work.
