Car parks

There are a number of car parks available to the public in the Woollahra municipality. Most are owned by Council, however some are owned by the shopping center or National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). In some locations the car parks are managed by a professional car park management company.

  • Paddington does not have a public car park, but on-street timed and metered parking is available.

Double Bay

Cross Street and corner of Jamberoo Lane, Double Bay.

Kiaora Lane, Double Bay - behind Woolworths on New South Head Road.

  • Up to one hour free parking.
  • Number of spaces: 110.
  • The car park is open air and is managed by Wilson Parking.

  • The proposed Kiaora Lands development will offer around 400 one hour free public car parking spaces.

Cosmopolitan Centre - entrance from Short Street and Knox Street.

Temporary public car park – former Stamford Hotel site, Cross Street.

  • This car park is a private car park and charges apply.
  • The site of the previous Sir Stamford Hotel is being utilised as a temporary public parking venue and is managed by Grimes Parking.
