Youth Services Forum
The Youth Services Forum is an interagency that brings together youth services, police, schools and local groups. The Council hosts these meetings with the aim of sharing information, networking and to foster partnerships.
The purpose of the Youth Services Forum (according to the Terms of Reference) is to:
- provide an opportunity for local organisations and service providers who work with young people to network and to share information, knowledge, skills and expertise.
- provide an opportunity for skill development and training on topics relating to young people in the Woollahra Municipality.
- provide an avenue to facilitate the development of partnership initiatives between local youth service providers in addressing issues pertaining to local youth.
Forums are held once per school term on a Tuesday and a guest speaker is invited to speak on priority issues as identified by Forum members.
