Location of dinghy storage facilities

Council currently has dinghy storage facilities at Rose Bay Park, Tingira Memorial Park, Gibsons Beach Reserve, and Marine Parade.

There is a high demand for dinghy storage within Woollahra and each of our storage facilities has a waiting list. If you are interested in storing a dinghy or water craft in any of our facilities, complete the Dinghy storage hire application form (PDF). When a storage place becomes available, you will be notified in writing.

Rose Bay Park dinghy rack

Rose Bay Park

Located on the corner of New South Head Road and Wunulla Road (below the Rose Bay Police Station). Contains 50 vertical dinghy storage bays. Dinghy length not to exceed 3.5m.
Tingira Memorial Park dinghy rack

Tingira Memorial Park

Located on New South Head Road, Rose Bay, adjacent to Rose Bay RSL with 22 vertical dinghy storage bays. Dinghy length not to exceed 3.5m.
Dinghy storage at Gibsons Beach Reserve

Gibsons Beach Reserve

Located at the end of Marine Parade, Watsons Bay (behind the Pilot Station) with 15 vertical dinghy storage bays. Dinghy length not to exceed 3.5m.
Watsons Bay Promenade

Marine Parade

Located along Marine Parade promenade, Watsons Bay. 60 stainless steel fixing points are attached to the edge of the promenade to allow dinghy storage horizontally along the parade. Dinghy length not to exceed 3.0m to maintain pedestrian access.
