COVID Safe Check In
Published: 14 January 2021
From Monday 11 January 2021, all customers will need to ‘check in’ to Woollahra Libraries using the Service NSW app. Businesses are now required to use the NSW Government QR code system to keep a record of who has visited their premises, which will assist NSW Health with contact tracing, if required.
Staff members at the greeting desk will welcome visitors entering the Library and provide assistance. For those who do not have a suitable device with them, Library staff will manually record names and contact numbers. Library membership cards will no longer be scanned upon entry, however cards will be required to borrow items, or to make bookings and reservations.
The Service NSW app can remember your details for a faster check-in next time. Please check out of the Library for more accurate contact tracing. The app only records the location and time you are visiting us. This information is stored for 28 days and only for the purpose of contact tracing, if necessary. Download the app via the App Store or Google Play or scan the QR code with your phone camera.
Further information about the Service NSW app is available on the Service NSW website.
