Have your say on plans to upgrade the northern section of Yarranabbe Park, Darling Point.
In response to community feedback received as part of the public exhibition for the Yarranabbe Park Plan of Management and Masterplan, Council has developed concept plans to upgrade the northern section of Yarranabbe Park. We are interested in offering residents and visitors more opportunities to relax and enjoy the view, as well as better access to the water's edge, consistent with other locations in Woollahra and in other Sydney Harbour foreshore access areas.
- A wider pedestrian promenade
- Additional bench seating for greater opportunity to sit and enjoy the harbour view
- Returfing of the northern lawn to improve the space for informal recreation and picnics
- Access to the water’s edge from the 6m wide harbour stairs located 60 metres from the northern tip of the park.

Council relies on community feedback as part of its decision making process. Opportunities for community consultation occur regularly throughout the year and are advertised in the Mayor's Column, Council's Notification Page (published weekly in the Wentworth Courier), and on this page.
Council's public exhibitions and invitations for public submissions are published weekly in the Wentworth Courier.
Public tenders are either published in the Wentworth Courier or in the 'Local Government Tenders' section of the Sydney Morning Herald on a regular basis.

The supply of information is voluntary. If personal information is not provided, Council may be limited in dealing with a submission. Submissions, summaries of submissions, and/or names and addresses of people making submissions may be included in publicly available reports to Council or Committee Meetings. All submissions will be placed on the appropriate Council file and may be accessed by Councillors, Council Officers, consultants to Council or members of the public.
