Have your say on plans to upgrade the northern section of Yarranabbe Park, Darling Point.

In response to community feedback received as part of the public exhibition for the Yarranabbe Park Plan of Management and Masterplan, Council has developed concept plans to upgrade the northern section of Yarranabbe Park. We are interested in offering residents and visitors more opportunities to relax and enjoy the view, as well as better access to the water's edge, consistent with other locations in Woollahra and in other Sydney Harbour foreshore access areas.

The concept and artist impression show the proposed upgrades and the location in the park to provide:

  • A wider pedestrian promenade
  • Additional bench seating for greater opportunity to sit and enjoy the harbour view
  • Returfing of the northern lawn to improve the space for informal recreation and picnics
  • Access to the water’s edge from the 6m wide harbour stairs located 60 metres from the northern tip of the park.

You can have your say on the proposed upgrade by completing our brief online survey and sharing your feedback before Thursday 7 June 2018.

We are preparing an Integrated Transport Study for our local area and we’d love your input.

We would like to hear about how you travel in and around Woollahra and your ideas on how traffic and transport could be better, safer, more efficient and accessible in the local area.

Your feedback will help us to prepare an Integrated Transport Strategy. We will be sharing the Strategy and community feedback with the State Government to ensure local transport and travel needs are understood, potential solutions are clearly communicated and our shared priorities help inform future plans and services for the Woollahra area.

We hosted a community workshop on Wednesday 11 April and scheduled a series of pop-up sessions:

  • Rose Bay Wharf, Tuesday 10 April 2018, 7:30am – 9:30am
  • Edgecliff Interchange, Thursday 12 April 2018, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Kiaora Lane, Wednesday 18 April 2018, 10:00am – 12:00pm

If you missed these opportunities you can still have your say by completing our brief online survey - before Tuesday 1 May 2018.
