The program offers parents, carers and members of the community, information on a range of contemporary topics. These information sessions, seminars and workshops are designed to enhance personal skills as well as parenting skills.

Free child car seat safety check vouchers
Did you know that all children under seven years of age must be secured in a child restraint or booster seat when traveling in a vehicle, and that 2 in 3 of these are not fitted correctly?
Woollahra Council have 40 vouchers to have your child car seats, harnesses and booster seats checked for safety and fit at a designated authorised fitter. As we have a limited number of vouchers for this popular program, please be aware that failure to redeem your voucher may affect future eligibility.
Vouchers are redeemable from 1 June 2021 - 31 August 2021. Only 40 vouchers are available, once allocated the offer will no longer be available.

Starting School Forum
Join us for an online, free information session on making sure your child has a good start at school in 2022. Hear from education expert Rod Soper, who will present practical information and strategies to assist your family with your child’s transition to kindergarten.
Rod Soper has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of education leadership and design having worked as a School Principal and Early Childhood Educator. He has led numerous research projects and published papers and books within the fields of education, teaching practice, learning design, transition to school, leadership and organisational change. He is Co-founder and Director of Education for Thinkers.inq

Come along to hear former ‘Dolly Doctor’ and co-author of ‘Welcome to Consent’ Dr Melissa Kang in conversation with Wendy Pettifer talking about respectful relationships and consent. This seminar is designed for parents of school aged children who want practical information and effective strategies for developing good communication and healthy and respectful relationships. Young people are welcome to attend with an adult/ parents may wish to bring their teenager. Presented in partnership with Waverley Council.
