Bush tucker walks

A number of Bush Tucker walks take place every year in the Woollahra Municipality. The events are hosted by Terry Lennis and supported by Woollahra Council.

These award winning guided walks take place in and around Nielsen Park, incorporating Aboriginal culture and education, while participants enjoy bush tucker tasting treats along the way.The Bush Tucker events are suitable for people of all ages, however there are steps involved in the walks. The Bush Tucker Walks take place each month from October to March.

Bush Tucker Walks will be back in October 2019.

The Bush Tucker Man has put together a document with a list of local native plants, some which you will see on your walk! Download your copy below - you might like to print it out to bring on the walk.

What others say about the Bush Tucker Walks:

I just wanted to let you know how informative, interesting and fun I found the bush tucker walk on Saturday morning. The bush tucker tasting was great - actually very nice food (I'd expected grubs!) and a great location on a rock overlooking the harbour.
