About the project
Artist: Linda Janssen
Location: Murray Rose Pool, Double Bay

Linda's designs are based on photos from the 1940s and 1950s sourced from Council's Local History Centre and private collections. These images provide a nostalgic view of life at Murray Rose Pool portraying family life, the swimming club and people relaxing and socialising at the beach.
Linda Janssen is a Sydney based artist who has created a number of murals for local communities. Linda creates joyful works of art that reflects the spirit of people and places she portrays.
