The 2025 Australian Federal Election will be held on Saturday 3 May 2025 to elect members of the 48th Parliament of Australia.
Federal elections are organised and run by the Australian Electoral Commission.
If you are an Australian citizen and over 18 years of age, it is compulsory by law to enrol and vote. Enrolment closes at 8pm local time on Monday 7 April 2025.
