At a Death Cafe, people, often strangers, come together to share tea, cake and open conversation about death.
The aim is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their finite lives.
This is a group-directed discussion with no set agenda, themes or objectives. It is not a grief support group or counselling session, but a welcoming space to explore thoughts, feelings and questions about the end of life.
