Cambridge Avenue, Vaucluse - Drainage & Road Improvements

Monday 14 July 2025 - Project Update - All works are completed.

As part of Woollahra Council’s 2024/25 Infrastructure Works Program, Council is upgrading the road and drainage system in Cambridge Avenue, Vaucluse (between Palmerston Street & Hopetoun Avenue).

These renewal works will improve the road, sections of footpaths, kerb, gutters and drainage in the area. Additionally, pedestrian usability and safety will be improved with the installation of new pedestrian access ramps at the intersections.

The works involve; upgrading drainage by installing new kerb inlet pits and laying new pipelines; renewing sections of footpath, kerb and gutters; installing new pedestrian access ramps; and renewing the asphalt road pavement. 

The work is scheduled to start on Monday 19 May 2025. It is expected to take 4 - 6 weeks to complete (weather dependant).

The works will be carried out between 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday, and 7am - 1pm on Saturday.
