to 04:00 PM
Are you looking for good conversation and a few laughs?
Join us for a free afternoon tea and enjoy topics discussed with guest speakers.
The Men’s Chat Group meets on the second Thursday of each month. Topics discussed range from local issues to world events, from the largest gadgets to trips down memory lane. Learn from guest speakers and find out what’s happening in the local area.
This month, we are joined by Constable Adam Livingstone from the Crime Prevention Unit at Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command.
Adam offers an insider’s view of a police officer’s daily life, including:
- Real stories from the community: The variety of calls, situations, and people officers encounter
- Community policing in action: How crime prevention units work proactively with local communities
- The human side of policing: Challenges, rewards, and the personal impact of the job
- Modern policing approaches: How technology and community engagement are shaping law enforcement today
- Q&A: An open discussion about policing, community safety, and everything in between.
