Notice of proposed lease of Community Land Trumper Park Paddington

Pursuant to section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, it is notified that Woollahra Municipal Council hereby gives notice that it intends, at the expiration of 28 days after the date of publication of this notice, to grant a lease to the lessee specified in Schedule 1 hereunder, in respect of the land specified in Schedule 2, for the term and purpose specified in Schedule 3.

Any submissions concerning the proposal should be made in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Woollahra Municipal Council, PO Box 61, Double Bay, NSW, 1360, or forwarded by email to records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au

Submissions close: 5:00pm on Monday, 30 June 2025.

SCHEDULE 2

Part Trumper Park at Woollahra comprising the Trumper Park Tennis Centre at
1 Quarry Street, Paddington.

SCHEDULE 3

For a term of seven (7) years commencing in/about June 2025 with one (1) option to renew for a further term of seven (7) years.

For the purpose of operating a tennis centre comprising of tennis courts, a kiosk and tennis pro shop, used exclusively for the playing of tennis only, and for the sale of food, beverages, merchandise related to the use of the courts for the playing of tennis, and the undertaking of community-related activities in connection with the use of the tennis courts.
