Volunteer for Celebrate Double Bay Festival


Celebrate Double Bay is a vibrant celebration of local culture, food, fashion, leisure and community. This open-street festival brings together residents, businesses, and visitors for two days of fun and connection.

Celebrate Double Bay Festival (Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 February 2026) will connect the Double Bay commercial centre to Sydney Harbour and will showcase the best Double Bay has to offer, with a strong focus on supporting local businesses, local talent and promoting existing connections to the local community.

Event Program: Saturday 21 February 2026

COOPER STREET

Event time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

The streets will be closed to traffic from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Activities include: Activations from The Royal Oak Hotel offering exclusive food and beverage menus created especially for the festival.

BAY STREET

Event time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

The streets will be closed to traffic from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Activities include: Delicious offerings from local restaurants with outdoor dining, live music & entertainment.

GUILFOYLE PARK

Event time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

The streets will be closed to traffic from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Activities include: Delicious offerings from local restaurants with outdoor dining, and live music. Kids can enjoy a dedicated Children’s Zone from Fairy Wishes featuring a colouring competition, parachute games, spinning plates, and more! Don’t miss the Double Bay Public School food stall serving up tasty treats, and for the ultimate photo opportunity, little ones can even paint a pony from Eastside Horse Riding Academy! Double Bay Library will also feature their Spark Truck as a reading zone for Children.

KNOX STREET

Event time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

The streets will be closed to traffic from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Activities include: Delicious offerings from local restaurants with outdoor dining, and live music. This lively street will also host a fashion parade, celebrating the top designers from the local area.

STEYNE PARK

Event time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Activities include: Activations from the 18 Footers offering exclusive food and beverage menus created especially for the festival. Double Bay Public School will showcase an art exhibition, while your furry friends are treated to a special Pound Paws Activation. End the day with some relaxation during our late-afternoon yoga session hosted by Double Bay Yoga.

Event Program: Sunday 22 February 2026

GUILFOYLE PARK

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Activities include: We are setting up a community marquee with performances and activities that showcase the very best of our local talent. Enjoy highlights like the Double Bay Public School choir and dance performance, a ballet performance for under-5s from Ballet Nina School, a dog fashion show hosted by Nicole and Baby & Fido and Fido, a music showcase from Reddam House, and Holdsworth Community will be organising a sausage sizzle. You can also look forward to some family favourites such as face painting, glitter art for the children, a jumping castle and live music.
