Hire a sports ground

In the New Year we’re launching a new online booking system for Sportsground hire. As we transition to the improved system from 15 December to early January 2026, new booking requests for Season Hire can be made via the Sports Seasonal Hire Application Form. Any enquiries for existing bookings can be sent to recreation@woollahra.nsw.gov.au.

 

Sports grounds can be hired on either a casual or a seasonal basis. Seasonal bookings constitute the hiring of a sports ground more than ten times in a season and are taken twice-yearly, whilst casual sports ground bookings can be made at any time.

Seasonal hire and ground availability status

The winter season runs from 1 April to 30 September. The summer season runs from 1 October to 31 March.
