Community Strategic Plan

Woollahra 2035

The Community Strategic Plan (CSP), Woollahra 2035(PDF, 6MB) , is a roadmap for the future, outlining the community's vision, goals, and priorities.

Created by the Council in partnership with the people of Woollahra, this plan belongs to the community. While Council helps guide it, the plan is shaped by the needs and aspirations of the people who live and work here. It aims to answer four key questions; where are we now, where do we want to be in 10 years' time, how will we get there, and how will we know we have arrived?

This strategic plan for our future integrates the engagement feedback we have received since our last Community Strategic Plan in 2021. Our community were invited to share their feedback on the draft Plan throughout the exhibition period, running from 30 April - 28 May 2025. After public exhibition, Council staff and Council's Strategic & Corporate Committee reviewed all feedback and submissions on 16 June 2025, making recommendations for the final Plan in response. The final Community Strategic Plan(PDF, 6MB)  was endorsed by Council on 23 June 2025.

Five key goals form the foundation of the Community Strategic Plan(PDF, 6MB) , guiding how we will work together to build a strong and thriving future for Woollahra.

 

Each goal in the Community Strategic Plan(PDF, 6MB)  includes key performance indicators to measure progress and identify challenges.

To keep the community informed, a State of Our City report is published at the start of each new Council term. This report reviews progress against all performance measures over the previous four years. The most recent State of Our City Report(PDF, 8MB) was noted by Council on 28 October 2024 and reviewed progress against the previous Community Strategic Plan, Woollahra 2032(PDF, 14MB).
