There are now even more EV charging options in our local area thanks to the addition of new 50kW - 75kw chargers (with two ports each) at four different sites:

  1. Lyne Park carpark (near tennis courts): 4 ports available, can be used with the Evie app.
  2. Riddell St, Bellevue Hill: 2 ports available, can be used with the Chargefox app.
  3. 50 O’Sullivan Road, Rose Bay (near entrance to Woollahra Golf Club): 2 ports available, can be used with the Chargefox app.
  4. 773 Old South Head Road, Vaucluse (near Christison Park shops): 2 ports available, can be used with the Chargefox app

The chargers can provide 50 - 75km range in 15 minutes, powered by renewable energy.

Through our 3-Council program with Waverley and Randwick Councils, we are installing a range of new public EV chargers to help meet growing demand, particularly in our local area which has one of the highest rates of Electric Vehicles ownership in NSW (almost 1 in 20 cars are EVs) with many households not having access to off-street charging at home.

A total of 35 new charge points were installed across the Woollahra LGA between July 2024 and June 2025....and more to come.
