Fees vary considerably depending on the type of the development proposed and the estimate cost of the work.

How to Get a Fee Calculation
Important: For developments over $750,000, a registered quantity surveyor must calculate the cost.
If you email us, a customer service officer will reply with the current fees.

Fees for solar & photovoltaic systems and A-frame signs
Council has waived all fees for DAs solely for:
- Photovoltaic systems
- Solar hot water systems (including gas-boosted)
- A-frame signs
Where solar and photovoltaic systems form part of a broader development proposal, Council has resolved that the cost of the systems should not be included in the estimated cost of the development for the basis of calculating DA fees or section 7.12 levies. In this situation you must provide documentary evidence of the cost of the systems with your development application.
