Our Program

At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that play is a powerful vehicle for learning. When children are given the freedom to explore, their curiosity and imagination are ignited - fostering a genuine love of learning.

We honour each child’s individuality and view early childhood as a precious time for play - an essential right of all children. We embrace a strength-based approach to learning, focusing on identifying and building upon each child’s existing knowledge, skills and interests. This approach acknowledges that every child is unique, competent, and capable of driving their own learning journey.

Our holistic play-based program is thoughtfully designed to offer a rich variety of engaging experiences, guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.

Our Approach

We are passionate about creating opportunities for children to connect with natural play spaces. By encouraging calculated risk-taking and discovery through nature-based exploration, we help children build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills - all within a safe and nurturing environment.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all children and families feel respected, valued, and supported. We celebrate cultural diversity and encourage children to develop an appreciation for different cultures, languages, and traditions. Through everyday practices, learning experiences, and meaningful connections with families and the community, we promote a sense of belonging and inclusion for all.

We believe a strong sense of emotional security and consistent and responsive relationships with children must be at the core of all behaviour management strategies. Relationships must be respectful and nurturing which, in turn, will foster understanding and a sense of belonging as we implement our behaviour management strategies which are based upon the principles of the circle of security.

We believe positive relationships between educators and parents enhance the child’s learning and well-being.

We believe parents should be respected as the primary and most significant educator of the child. Therefore, we actively develop continuous collaborative relationships with parents to enhance the curriculum to ensure it is meaningful for each child.

We believe the thoughtful inclusion of children with additional needs in mainstream educational programs such as ours, enriches the program and leads to positive learning outcomes for all.
