National Science Week: WonderLab!

Celebrate National Science Week at WonderLab and discover more than 30 hands on experiments exploring light, sound, electromagnetism, forces, puzzles and illusions.

Meet a scientist and take part in activities connected to their area of research.

WonderLab is a drop in experience designed for curious minds of all ages.

Entry times begin every 30 minutes, with a maximum of 25 people per session.

Morning sessions: 10.00am – 12.00pm

Afternoon sessions: 12.00pm – 4.00pm

About the curator:

Science Educator Parker McLean studied Physics, Maths and Science Communication in Canada and comes to Woollahra Library with a background in curating hands on science centre exhibits, galleries and programs. He has performed over 300 live science shows and 150 hands-on science workshops. Bringing the joy of discovery to Woollahra Libraries, Parker presents classic science centre experiments and exhibits for you to puzzle through and explore!
