Using VEX IQ robotics and cardboard, participants will design, build and code their own carnival games in this six-session workshop.

Bring your ideas to life in this creative robotics workshop!

Using VEX IQ robotics and cardboard, participants will imagine, design and construct interactive games inspired by classic carnival activities. Projects might include obstacle courses, timing challenges, guessing games or other original creations, using motors, sensors and code to make them interactive and playable.

Across the six sessions, participants will refine their designs, test ideas, and build games intended for others to enjoy.

Finished projects may be showcased in Woollahra Library’s WonderLab, giving participants the chance to see their creations played by library visitors.

This program is suitable for ages 13 to 18 and welcomes both beginners and participants with prior experience.
