Step into WonderLab and explore more than 30 hands on experiments covering light, sound, electromagnetism, forces, puzzles and illusions.

Meet a scientist and take part in activities connected to their area of research. Then visit the Tinkering Activity Station to experiment with open ended building challenges using materials such as KAPLA blocks.

WonderLab is a drop in experience for all ages.

Entry times begin every 30 minutes, with a maximum of 25 people per session.

Morning session: 10.00am – 12.00pm
Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 4.00pm

There are no entries between 12.00pm and 1.30pm. Please sign in on arrival.

About the curator:

Science Educator Parker McLean studied Physics, Maths and Science Communication in Canada and comes to Woollahra Library with a background in curating hands on science centre exhibits, galleries and programs. He has performed over 300 live science shows and 150 hands-on science workshops. Bringing the joy of discovery to Woollahra Libraries, Parker presents classic science centre experiments and exhibits for you to puzzle through and explore!
