This three-part workshop series invites participants aged 50 and over to explore personal history and memoir writing through reflection, discussion and guided exercises.

Designed for those interested in writing about their own lives, the sessions focus on shaping memory into meaningful narrative. Participants will consider how personal experience can be interpreted and expressed, drawing on examples from a range of historical and contemporary texts.

Across the series, you will develop techniques for writing with clarity and depth, while gaining a broader understanding of how individuals make sense of their lives through storytelling.

The workshop includes discussion, short writing exercises and practical guidance in a supportive group setting. Participants may be writing for family, publication or personal reflection.
