Get set for after school creativity in this twice-monthly reading and writing club for children aged 7 to 12.
Each session features a different reading or writing prompt, with guided activities that encourage children to explore storytelling, language and creative expression in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Supervising parents and carers are asked to remain nearby for the duration of the session to support their child if needed. Activities are designed specifically for children within the recommended age group.
The Reading and Writing Club runs during term time and is facilitated by library staff, volunteers and visiting local authors.
