What is Problem Waste?
According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) problem waste is any type of household product that can be potential harmful to our community and the environment if not disposed of correctly.
These items need special treatment and cannot be placed in your red-lid garbage bin or presented for your scheduled household clean-up collections.

Community Recycling Centres
Community recycling centres are permanent drop off locations that can be visited all year round for free and safe disposal of problem waste. Your nearest community recycling centre is:
Randwick community recycling centre located at 72 Perry Street, Matraville. They are open Monday to Friday from 6am-3pm and Saturday from 8am-11am.
