Woollahra Council is excited to announce the launch of the third Community Capacity Survey. Previous surveys have taken place in 2007 and 2012. Findings from the surveys equip Council with information that is used to develop the Woollahra Social and Cultural Plans and other strategic documents.
What does it involve?
Council have contracted Micromex Research to carry out the Community Capacity Survey. Micromex will randomly select 500 Woollahra residents aged 18 years and above and invite them to complete a telephone survey. The surveys will be completed during October and will take about 15 minutes to complete.
What does this mean for the Woollahra Community?
Responses to questions about community connectedness, sense of safety and social participation will provide invaluable information that will be used to advise Council on further community development initiatives. This information will also be compared to survey results from 2007 and 2012 to indicate any changes, thereby highlighting priority areas.
If you are asked and agree to complete the survey – thank you. Your participation will directly contribute to future social and cultural opportunities for the Woollahra community.
If residents of Woollahra have any questions or concerns about the consultation process they can contact the Community Services Division, Woollahra Council on 9391 7166.
