Woollahra Council is preparing to undertake its annual Broadleaf weed eradication program at parks, reserves and sports fields throughout the Woollahra Municipality.
Council is specifically targeting bindii before seeding in early spring. Treatment will commence on Monday 13 August 2018 (weather permitting).
Duration of works will be up to 2 weeks (weather permitting). A selective broadleaf herbicide will be used. The works will be undertaken by GLOBE Australia Pty Ltd, a highly regarded and fully certified company used by many Sydney Councils. Local signage will be erected prior to sites being sprayed as part of our Pesticide Notification Policy.
