Double Bay Story Time: NAIDOC Week (3-5 years)

Explore a theme which incorporates songs, rhymes and a craft activity with your child. This free program helps to promote reading readiness and is a great opportunity for preschool children and their parent or carers to share the joy of literature, language, stories and rhyme.

NAIDOC WEEK: Seeds of Reconciliation

To celebrate NAIDOC Week 2019, Woollahra Council invites you to a bush tucker planting workshop hosted by expert Aboriginal horticulturalist Terry Lennis. In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about several native plants and their uses for food
  • Help plant seeds and small plants as an official opening to the bush tucker garden

Afterwards, enjoy a lemon myrtle cheesecake with wattle-seed base in the beautiful surrounds of Cooper Park Community Garden.
