The Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize is a vibrant exhibition of a large range of photographic and short film works by high school students from our local area.

Now in its 28th year, The Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize celebrates and displays the creativity of local high school students. It provides an opportunity for young aspiring photographers and filmmakers to reach a broader audience and to win cash prizes of more than $2,000.

Local high school students in years 7-12 are invited to submit a photograph or a short film to be part of the exhibition at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf from 14 September to 2 October 2022.

Entries for The Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize open from 5 May 2022 and close on 15 August 2022.

Please read all entry conditions and make an online submission.

The competition will be judged by photographer Hugh Stewart and artist and photographer Lulu Pinkus.
