Youth Photo Prize winners announced

Congratulations to all the winning entries in Woollahra Council’s 2021 Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize.

More than 140 photo and short film entries were submitted by students from seven eastern suburbs high schools for the much-loved annual competition.

Now in its 27th year, the Prize provides an opportunity for young aspiring photographers and filmmakers to reach a broader audience and to win cash prizes of up to $2,000.

For the first time, the winning photographs and short films will be exhibited at the new Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, with all entries available to view online through the Gallery’s website, until 28 November.

To view the exhibition and to vote in the People’s Choice Award category until 1 December, visit Woollahra Gallery.

Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf will also host a series of photographic workshops from 27 November to 16 December. For details, visit Woollahra Gallery.

The Gallery is open Wednesday to Friday, 10am-6pm and Saturday and Sunday, 10am-5pm at 548 New South Head Road, Double Bay. Admission is free.
