Our local area is beautiful at this time of year as jacarandas paint the streets purple. An iconic part of our landscape, these beauties bloom for only a few weeks each year – so get your cameras out before they are gone again!
Here we share our local area's top 5 jacarandas.
1. Oxford Street, corner of Glenmore Road
The northern edge of Victoria Barracks is adorned by a row of stunning jacarandas.
2. Five Ways, Paddington
Grab a table at one of Five Way’s famous cafes and soak in the purple splendour from all angles.
3. Guilfoyle Park, Double Bay
Visit on a Thursday for the Double Bay Organic Markets and enjoy lunch with a side of purple.
4. Near St Mark’s Church and Preschool, Darling Point
The perfect spot to sit and read a book.
5. Murray Rose Pool, Double Bay
The water is warming up, so grab your beach towel and friends and pop down to Murray Rose Pool while it's looking its best.
