Our local area is beautiful at this time of year as jacarandas paint the streets purple. An iconic part of our landscape, these beauties bloom for only a few weeks each year – so get your cameras out before they are gone again!

Here we share our local area's top 5 jacarandas.

1. Oxford Street, corner of Glenmore Road

The northern edge of Victoria Barracks is adorned by a row of stunning jacarandas. This year you can snap a selfie with Jacaranda Santa, who’ll be available for photo ops opposite The Intersection on Glenmore Road on weekends from 11am-3pm until Sunday 17 November.
