It's never easy to find that perfect venue for your child's next birthday party, family event, meeting or corporate gathering. But the great news is that the popular Cooper Park Community Hall has been renovated, updated and modernised and it now ticks all the boxes as one of the best venues to hire in the East.

The much-loved facility, located in Cooper Park, Bellevue Hill, adjacent to a popular children’s playground is now available for public hire for social events, recreational and community group activities.

Pick of the party places

The Cooper Park Community Hall is a choice pick for those parents planning a kids' party. The Hall is now easily accessible to an action-packed playground, with swings and climbing equipment. There is also plenty of grass to run off some energy or play games. Hirers should note, however, that hiring of the hall does not permit exclusive use of the playground.

Areas of Cooper Park may also be hired in conjunction with the venue to allow for the use of jumping castles, animal farms and pony rides. Please be aware, additional fees and conditions will apply to conduct these activities.

"Recreational facilities in our parks and reserves are a key priority for Council as they are vital in helping people to stay active and get out and about to meet with family and friends," Woollahra Mayor Susan Wynne said.

"We are excited to welcome visitors back to the Hall, and so pleased it can now better cater to community needs."

Great Value-for-money

One of the best features about hiring Cooper Park Community Hall is the price. This venue offers exceptional value-for-money.  A kids’ party session of 3-and-a-half hours costs $166 and hiring by the hour for a community group starts at $47 per hour. There is also a refundable bond fee as well as a cleaning fee for some private events. See all the hiring cost details.
