Bush Tucker Walk

Bush Tucker Walks

Sunday 12 January, 9:30am-11:00am
Nielsen Park, Steele Point Rd, Vaucluse

This award winning walk takes place in and around Nielsen Park, Vaucluse. Produced in partnership with Bush Tukka Dreaming, the walk provides an opportunity to discover native plants and foods (tastings when in season) and explore Indigenous cultural sites in the local area.

Please note: the walk is suitable for people of all ages, however there are some steps involved.

Rockpool Ramble

Rockpool Ramble

Sunday 12 & Thursday 23 January, 1:30pm-3:30pm
Nielsen Park, Steele Point Rd, Vaucluse

Learn about some amazing life in the harbour by exploring rock pools with marine biologist guides. You will get a chance to get close to the animals that live in the intertidal zones along the Nielsen Park foreshore and learn about their habitat. This family-friendly activity is not to be missed! Suitable for all ages, although children (4 years old & over) must be accompanied by an adult.
Nielsen Park is part of Sydney Harbour National Park.

TO BRING: water, a hat, enclosed shoes (e.g., old runners that can get wet – NO thongs) and sunscreen.

Snorkeling Discovery Tour

Saturday 18 & Tuesday 21 January, 10:00am-12:30pm
Camp Cove, Watsons Bay

Enjoy this guided snorkelling adventure and discover the beautiful underwater life of Camp Cove. Find out how many different fish and critters you can spot by joining us in this exhilarating snorkelling expedition guided by two experienced marine biologists. The event is run by the Marine Discovery Centre on behalf of Woollahra Council and is open to families and children 6 years and over (must be able to swim 25m unaided – with at least one water-confident adult per 2 kids).

Bring: water, sunscreen, hat and a rashy or T-shirt.
Mask, snorkel & fins provided – but feel free to bring your own if you have them!

Mad Hatter Escape Room (ages 11+)

Mad Hatter Escape Room

Tuesday 14 & Monday 20 January, 10am-4pm
Woollahra Library at Double Bay

You have 60 minutes to crash the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and discover a series of clues to help the Mad Hatter escape the Red Queen. Get together your team of 2- 4 people, book your time-slot and join us for some escape room fun.

That's Not a Box! (ages 5-8)

Woollahra Library at Double Bay

Join us for an imaginative morning and transform an ordinary cardboard box into a wonderful and amazing something that's definitely not a box!

Join us for a range of Theatresports games hosted by industry professionals from Impro Australia. Work on developing your confidence and team work skills, create hilarious characters and stories on the spot, make new friends and enjoy a ton of fun. No previous theatre experience is necessary.
