New year, new EV charging station!

Our fifth electric vehicle charging station is now up and running on Birriga Road, Bellevue Hill. It follows the December installation of an EV charger in Vaucluse, at the corner of New South Head and Old South Head roads.

Our public EV chargers are all powered by 100% renewable energy and provide options for locals who want to drive an EV, but are unable install charging infrastructure at home.

We are committed to installing multiple chargers in the Woollahra LGA every year, and to making our fleet of Council vehicles 100% electric by 2025.

I encourage you to join me at the opening of our Seniors Festival celebrations, which are launching with a special Sunset Concert at Redleaf on 1 February, where you can enjoy listening to some great classical and jazz pieces performed as the sun sets over our beautiful harbour.
