Development Application notifications are now published on our website

On 17 April 2020, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 was amended to remove the requirement on councils to notify planning matters or development applications in local newspapers and now require them to advertise on council websites or on the NSW Government's Planning Portal.

Woollahra Council commenced the publication of new development applications on its website from 29 April 2020.

We will continue to notify the owners of properties which may be impacted by a development application by letter and we will still require site notices to be erected on proposed development sites.
