Bellevue Hill, 2023
Daniel Troyak, founder of Social Buddy and Bellevue Hill local, shares what he loves about the neighbourhood
Published 22 February 2023
Throughout the year we've been celebrating all things Bellevue Hill - Time and Place 2023.
Bellevue Hill Public School , opened in 1925, continues to play an important role in the education of local children. As part of our Year of Bellevue Hill celebrations we are delighted to have provided a banner featuring self portraits made by some of the school students to promote the 'Faces of Bellevue Hill' community.
BHPS Principal Sue Bennett is passionate about the school and the community it serves, "I love this school - the students, teachers and parents and in particular the education offered at Bellevue Hill PS , which is exciting and dynamic, catering for all the needs of our community."
Bellevue Hill is a wonderful suburb and with a few more months left in 2023 we encourage you to share what you love about the area on social media and tag us @woollahracouncil in your photos of local faces and places.

Earlier this year:
Daniel Troyak, a Buddhist chaplain and the founder of Social Buddy, a local organisation which connects volunteers with people experiencing social isolation.
We think he’s a great guy living in a great place - Social Buddy received a council grant last year for their amazing work in the community.
Daniel has been living in Bellevue Hill for five years and says his favourite thing about living there is the proximity to coffee and the beach.
“My all-time favourite spot to visit here in Bellevue Hill, especially when I have friends visiting, is Cooper Park. Once you get down there and you can feel that beautiful nature energy, you just relax,” he says.
Do you know another Bellevue Hill resident we should shine the spotlight on this year? Let us know.
