Alcohol prohibited at parks and beaches this Australia Day

To safeguard the enjoyment of our public open spaces by all members of the community, our parks and beaches have been declared as alcohol free for Australia Day.
Alcohol Prohibited Areas are in effect from midnight Monday 25 January to 8am Wednesday 27 January 2021 at the following parks and reserves:
- Rushcutters Bay Park
- Yarranabbe Reserve
- McKell Park
- Murray Rose Pool – Redleaf Gardens
- Duff Reserve
- Rose Bay Foreshore
- Tingara Memorial Reserve
- Lyne Park
- Robertson Park
- Dumaresq Reserve
- Percival Park
- Parsley Bay Reserve
- Christison Park
Alcohol is also prohibited on beaches.
The consumption and possession of alcohol is prohibited within these areas. The Police have powers to dispose and confiscate alcohol. Fines may also apply.
Signage will be installed at each location to advise visitors of the Alcohol Prohibited Area.
