Take the hassle and expense out of your next kids’ birthday party by hiring one of our community venues.

Rose Bay Cottage, located on the corner of Woollahra Golf Club on O’Sullivan Road, is a perfect choice for kids’ birthday parties and other family celebrations. Here are some reasons why.

  1. Safe outdoor and indoor play areas

If your party guests consist of little runners and climbers, you can breathe easy at Rose Bay Cottage. There’s a fully fenced outdoor play area with fun equipment and toys, a soft-fall surface to protect against knocks and bruises and a shade sail.

There’s also an open-plan indoor space meaning you’re covered no matter what the weather.

  2. Easy parking and access

There’s plenty of parking on-site and the venue is accessible, making it perfect for guests with prams.

There’s also baby change facilities, so you won’t have to pack up the whole family and traverse a park to do a nappy change.

  3. Kitchen facilities

Catering is a breeze in the kitchen at Rose Bay Cottage. There’s a kettle, microwave and oven – perfect for heating up everyone’s favourite party snacks.

  4. Kids will love the beautiful new mural

A beautiful new mural by Ignacio Querejeta was recently painted in the indoor space. Kids will love spotting and naming their favourite Australian animals.

  5. It’s affordable
You can hire Rose Bay Cottage for kids’ parties for only $132 for 3.5 hours, meaning you’ve got more cash to spend on birthday presents!

You can come and check out Rose Bay Cottage in person at our Rose Bay Cottage Open Days on Wednesday 25 March and Friday 27 March. There’ll be special guest entertainers, craft activities, storytime and morning tea treats.

Woollahra Council staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about hiring the cottage for future birthday parties, playgroups or parent group meet ups.
