Local businesses and community groups within the municipality can promote your community event on Council's free events calendar.

Promote your event with a canvas banner at one of two locations. Subject to space availability and suitability (community events supported by Council through our grants program, inclusive, free events that promote community connection).

Join us for a whale watching walk and talk. Learn about the history of whaling in Australia and the natural and cultural heritage of the Vaucluse area.

Our walk will start at Macquarie Lighthouse and finish at Gap Park Watsons Bay. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Meeting Point: the back of Macquarie Lighthouse (facing the ocean).
