Lighthouse Reserve, Old South Head Road, Vaucluse
Tree Day is an opportunity to do something positive for your local environment and community and to reconnect with nature. National Tree Day started in 1996 and since then more than 3.8 million people have planted 23 million trees and plants and it's still growing.
Woollahra Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Lighthouse Reserve Vaucluse. This location is important because it is a wildlife corridor, and habitat for birdlife. We are aiming to re vegetate the area, increase biodiversity, provide habitat for reptiles and birds and beautify the local park.So come along and plant a tree.
The kids will love the wildlife display, that will run from 10am until 12pm, and there’s a FREE sausage sizzle for the whole family.
