NAIDOC WEEK Indigenous Stories and Bush Craft (5-12yrs)

Throughout the month of June, we will be collecting donations for Lismore Library at all Woollahra Libraries events. Lismore Library was badly affected by the recent floods which devastated the Northern Rivers area in NSW. The library building was severely damaged, resulting in the loss of an estimated 30,000 books, DVDs and other items. To contribute, look for the cash donation box at the next event you attend at our libraries at Double Bay, Paddington and Watsons Bay.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

Experience Indigenous storytelling and craft presented by Koori Kinnections. This interactive presentation ensures children walk away with a greater understanding of Indigenous culture and some fun bush craft to create and take home.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult or carer while in the library.
