Sale of road reserve adjoining 5-7 Eastbourne Road, Darling Point

In pursuance of the Provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is given that the Woollahra Municipal Council proposes to close the public road listed in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1

Council is considering the closure and sale of a portion of Eastbourne Road reserve to the adjoining property owner 5-7 Eastbourne Road, Darling Point NSW 2027.

The Eastbourne road portion is rectangular in shape, bound by a black line with hatched line, and has yellow coloured fill. It is some 34m long and 6m wide, and has an estimated size of 203 square metres, subject to final survey size.

View plans which include the Council sketch, the owner No. 5-7 proposed land improvements, elevation, and landscape plan showing new tree planting species and relative height of the trees, and photomontage view of the proposed building and trees on the subject Eastbourne Road reserve, after the purchase is completed.

Any member of the public wishing to make a written submission to Council in regards to the proposed road road closing and sale of the subject land should do so before 4:30pm on Wednesday 7 July 2021.  Further information may be obtained from Council’s Senior Property Officer, Anthony Sheedy on 9391 7019.
