Meet your Double Bay Ward Councillors

People living or working in the Double Bay Ward are invited to meet with their Ward Councillors on Tuesday 21 May, 6.00pm-7.30pm at Woollahra Council Chambers.

This event will be an ideal opportunity to hear from your Councillors and to share your ideas, concerns and questions. Find out more and RSVP online at Your Say Woollahra. Meetings for Vaucluse and Cooper Wards will be held in June and July.

Recycle It Saturday

Woollahra Council is committed to protecting our environment by reducing waste that goes into landfill, which is why we regularly join with City of Sydney and Waverley Councils to host Recycle It Saturday – a free drive-in, drop-off event where you can bring a range of items for recycling that can’t go in your recycling bin at home. Every item you drop off is a valuable resource diverted from landfill that can be given a second life.

Bring your items to Alexandra Canal Depot, 67 Bourke Road, Alexandria on Saturday 18 May between 9am and 3pm. For more information on what you can and cannot bring, visit Problem waste

Double Vision

We are seeking expressions of interest from artists interested in being part of the next exhibition cycle for Double Vision, a digital public art project run by Woollahra Council.

A digital screen, installed in Kiaora Place in Double Bay near the entrance to Woollahra Library, features a range of video or other screen-based artworks from different artists, with the works displayed aimed to engage and provide a point of difference to the public in this space.

Each exhibition will be on view for a period of three months between October 2024 and October 2025. Expressions of Interest will close on 30 May. For more information, visit Woollahra Double vision.
