Woollahra Council maintains a number of sportsgrounds available for hire, accommodating a range of sporting activities such as cricket, rugby union, rugby league, Australian Rules Football, soccer, touch football, netball, basketball, hockey, softball and athletics.

Sporting groups, schools and clubs are able to hire Council sportsgrounds for training and competition on a casual or seasonal basis.

Hiring a sports ground

Seasonal bookings constitute the hiring of a sportsground more than ten times in a season and are taken twice-yearly. Casual sportsground bookings can be made at any time. The winter season runs from 1 April to 30 September. The summer season runs from 1 October to 31 March. Seasonal application forms may be uploaded and are also available from our Customer Service Centre at 536 New South Head Road.
