E-waste

Council holds a free, biannual collection of electronic waste (e-waste) for all residents in the municipality. Drop off your unwanted e-waste for recycling at our next collection on Sunday 27 May 2012 between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Where do I take my unwanted e-waste?

Drop off your unwanted e-waste at the Lyne Park car park, Rose Bay (behind the tennis courts) Entry to the car park will be via Vickery Avenue.

What can I take?

We accept the following e-waste for recycling:

  • Computer monitors, mouse, hard drives, keyboards, printers, laptops, scanners, cables, network equipment, speakers and modems;
  • Televisions, DVD/video players, projectors, DVD's and tapes;
  • Mobile phones, landline phones, fax machines;
  • MP3 players, cameras;
  • Household batteries; and
  • Toasters, kettles, microwaves, heaters (any small electrical items).

Please note that only residential quantities of e-waste will be accepted and we cannot take:
