Where there is a need to place an item of plant on a public road eg, mobile crane / concrete pump / other plant, you must complete and have approved a 'Permit To Stand Plant' application, which is available below.
The following information must accompany the application before it can be assessed:
1. A Traffic Control Plan (TCP) prepared by an RTA accredited Traffic Control Consultant. This plan must cover all aspects of both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
2. A Permit from the Police for the type of temporary lane or road closure required. Contact Paddington Police 8356 8299.
3. Evidence of the applicant's Public Liability Insurance to carry out such works (minimum $10,000,000)
Please ensure you supply all required supporting documentation with the completed application. Once the above information has been satisfactorily submitted and the prescribed fees paid, this permit can be issued immediately by Council's Customer Service section.
