New South Head Road, Double Bay

This small park offers views across to Double Bay with shade trees and seating. It is a good place to rest on your walk up the hill from Double Bay shops.

The park also encompasses Sherbrooke Hall. This facility houses Woollahra Preschool and the Local History Centre which is available for public viewing. The preschool playground area is available for general public use after 3:45pm in the summer months and on weekends throughout the year.

Access

Elevated street access is provided from New South Head Road and public access to Sherbrooke Hall is gained from Sherbrooke Avenue.

History

Named in 1937 after W. F. Foster, Mayor of Woollahra from 1923 – 1925.
